The Historic Track, Goshen Race Track, opened in 1891, a half-mile track leased by Edward H. Harriman and his wife. Names like Uhlan, Greyhound, Speedy Rodney, Nevele Pride have made Historic Track and the surrounding area known as the “Cradle of the Trotter” for more than a hundred years.
