Preakness Stakes 132 Official Race Entries & Odds

2007 Preakness StakesThe contenders are in for the $1 million Preakness Stakes slated for Saturday, May 6 at Pimlico Race Course. Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense faces eight contenders for the second jewel of the Triple Crown.

Odds to win the Preakness from online racebook, All Horse Racing, favors Street Sense to go all the way to Belmont as favorite at 5-4. Next is Derby runner up Hard Spun with 5-2 odds. Then Curlin, 3rd finisher at Chruchill Downs, is at 7-2.

Saturday also marks the inauguration of Barbaro Stakes, formerly Sir Barton, in honor of the 2006 Kentucky Derby winner. Barbaro and his owners will also receive spacial honors during the race day.
