Regal Ransom Wins UAE Derby at Nad al Sheba Racecourse March 28
Godolphin’s Regal Ransom, ridden by jockey Alan Garcia, won the $2-million UAE Derby at Nad Al Sheba Racecourse on Dubai World Cup day Saturday, March 28.
The UAE Derby is one of the 2009 Kentucky Derby prep races. The winner’s purse of $1.2-million could secure a spot for Regal Ransom in the Kentucky Derby field.
