Norfolk Stakes Field at Santa Anita Park October 4

Twelve hopeful Breeders’ Cup contenders will run in the $300,000 Norfolk Stakes for 2-year-old colts at Santa Anita Park on Sunday, October 4.

As part of the Breeders’ Cup 2009 Challenge, the Norfolk Stakes winner gets a spot in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile entries on November 7 at Santa Anita Park.

All carrying 122 pounds, Santa Anita’s 1 1/16-mile Norfolk Stakes field with jockeys:
