Sunday’s $350,000 John C. Mabee Handicap will be contested by 10 fillies and mares at Del Mar August 16.

As part of the 2009 Breeders’ Cup Challenge, the John C. Mabee winner will be part of the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf on November 6 at Santa Anita.
