I Want Revenge, Pioneerof the Nile, Chocolate Candy Work at Churchill Downs For The 2009 Kentucky Derby

I Want Revenge, one of the leading Kentucky Derby entries, has hit the track at Churchill Downs in one of his final major workouts before the May 2 Kentucky Derby 2009.

SBG Global RacebookThe 3-year-old colt covered 5 furlongs Tuesday in 1:01 3-5 seconds with 19-year-old jockey Joe Talamo aboard. Race horse trainer Jeff Mullins said he was pleased with the work on a track still a little muddy from heavy rain the day before.

Also one of the Kentucky Derby starters, Pioneerof the Nile, trained by newly minted Hall of Fame race horse trainer Bob Baffert, covered the same distance in 1:00 4-5.

Bob Baffert said he plans to work the Santa Anita Derby winner at least one more time before the 2009 Kentucky Derby.

Chocolate Candy, piloted by jockey Mike Smith, breezed a mile in 1:42.
