When it comes to horse racing, Horses Wild has got you covered.
Race horse trainer Larry Jones announced his decision to run Friesan Fire in the Preakness Stakes Tuesday morning after Friesan Fire worked out at Pimlico Race Course with jockey Gabriel Saez aboard.
Larry Jones said he liked what he saw and that Friesan Fire has fully recovered from injuries he sustained in the Kentucky Derby 2009.
Friesan Fire was sent off as the horse betting favorite in the Kentucky Derby field, but got banged around at the start and injured his left front hoof. Friesan Fire also had several cuts on his legs.
Jones said he’s not looking forward to competing against standout filly Rachel Alexandra, but he believes her running against the boys will be good for horse racing.
