Pilgrim Stakes Field at Belmont Park October 1
Nine 2-year-old race horses headed by Todd Pletcher’s Bittel Road will be running in the $150,000 Pilgrim Stakes (gr. III) at Belmont Park on Wednesday, October 1.
As part of the 2008 Breeders’ Cup Challenge, Belmont Park’s Pilgrim winner will automatically be one of the Breeders’ Cup contenders for the $1-million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf on October 25 at Santa Anita Park.
