Longacres Mile Handicap at Emerald Downs August 17

Twelve race horses will run in the 73rd running of the $300,000 Longacres Mile Handicap (gr. III) at Emerald Downs Sunday, August 17.

As part of the 2008 Breeders’ Cup Challenge “Win & You’re In” series of horse races, the Longacres Mile Handicap winner will automatically be one of the Breeders’ Cup horses for the October 25 Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile to be held at Santa Anita Park.
