Live Horse Racing at Monmouth Park Continues Through September 28
Four weeks of live horse racing remain in the 2008 season at Monmouth Park and the Oceanport racetrack will continue its regular schedule of Wednesday through Sunday.
The Monmouth track will be open on Wednesday, September 3 and continue its live racing schedule through closing day on Sunday, September 28. As always gates will open at 11:30 a.m. with first post set for 12:50 p.m.
The highlight of the September calendar will be the Monmouth Stakes on Saturday, September 13, which is set to feature 2008 Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Haskell winner Big Brown who will make the Monmouth Stakes his final prep for the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
