Kip Deville Heads Woodbine Mile Stakes on September 7

Eight race horses headed by IEAH Stables and Partners’ Kip Deville will run in the $1-million Woodbine Mile Stakes on September 7 at Woodbine.

As part of the 2008 Breeders’ Cup Challenge “Win & You’re In” series of horse races, the Woodbine Mile winner will be one of the Breeders’ Cup horses for the October 25 Breeders’ Cup Mile to be held at Santa Anita Park.

Raced at 1 mile, the Woodbine Mile field of race horses with jockeys and weight:

Mulmur ridden by jockey Eurico Rosa Da Silva carries 117 lbs.
Rahy’s Attorney ridden by jockey Slade Callaghan, 119 lbs.
Just Rushing ridden by jockey James McAleney, 121 lbs.
Kip Deville ridden by jockey Cornelio Velasquez, 124 lbs.
Wollemi Pine ridden by jockey Emma-Jayne Wilson, 117 lbs.
Ice Bear ridden by jockey Chantal Sutherland, 117 lbs.
Palladio ridden by jockey Richard Anthony Dos Ramos, 117 lbs.
Ventura ridden by jockey Garrett Gomez, 124 lbs.

The Woodbine Mile Stakes is the 9th race in Woodbine’s September 7 horse racing program. Woodbine Mile post time is 5:35 pm.
