Dream Empress Wins Darley Alcibiades Stakes at Keeneland & An Entry In The Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies
Livin the Dream Racing’s Dream Empress, ridden by jockey Robby Albarado, wins the $500,000 Darley Alcibiades Stakes at Keeneland’s Opening Day Friday, October 3.
Trained by Ken McPeek, Dream Empress covered 1 1/16 miles in 1:43.82 and paid $6.80, $3.40 and $2.80. Be Smart, under jockey Garrett Gomez, placed second and returned $4.60 and $4.60. Devotee with jockey Eibar Coa aboard came in third and paid $6 to show.
Other horses that raced in Keeneland’s Darley Alcibiades Stakes in order of finish: Bon Jovi Girl, Amanwella, August Rush and Mani Bhavan.
