Night Light Wins Coyote Lakes Stakes in Aqueduct

Nite Light ridden by Mike Luzzi wins by a neck over Successful Affair on Wednesday, December 5, to win the $76,700 Coyote Lakes Stakes in snowing Aqueduct.

Trained by Todd Pletcher, 3-year-old Nite Light improved to 3-for-6, covered 1 1/2 miles in 2:34.33 and paid $10.80, $5 and $4.50. Successful Affair and Malibu Moonshine, the favored entry at 6-5, finished second and third and each returned $2.70 and $2.80.

Horses who also ran the Coyote Lakes Stakes were: Angelic Aura, Piety and The Shaughraun.
