The 8-5 favorite colt trained by Rich Schosberg remained perfect in three starts by fending off Spanky Fischbein in the early stages before pulling clear in the deep stretch.
Giant Moon covered 1 1/16 miles in 1:46.07 and paid $5.30, $2.70 and $2.60. Spanky Fischbein with jockey John Velazquez returned $2.80 and $2.70. Alexandros ridden by Eibar Coa paid $3.40 to show.
