Dinner Break Wins Flat Fleet Feet Stakes at Aqueduct
Dinner Break, ridden by jockey Alan Garcia, outran Runway Rosie to win the $78,150 Flat Fleet Feet Stakes at New York’s Aqueduct.
The 1 mile and 70 yards test for 3-year-old fillies was covered by Dinner Break in 1:43.67.
Trained by Mark Hennig, Dinner Break paid $14.60, $6.60 and $4. Second place finisher Runway Rosie with jockey Ramon Dominguez on board paid $3.90 and $3.50. Bitter Lemon with Rajiv Maragh came in third and paid $4.40 to show.
Horses that also ran in the Flat Fleet Feet Stakes are Adorable Jane, Bare Dancer, Alotofappeal and Bold Assurance. Margies Smile was scratched.
