Court Folly Takes $150,000 Amsterdam Stakes

Court Folly, ridden by Calvin Borel, came from the back of the pack to win the $150,000 Amsterdam Stakes at Saratoga on Monday.

The three-year-old son of Royal Academy trailed the field of four from the start, while El Nino and favorite Songster dueled for the lead.

Court Folly covered 6 furlongs in 1:16.14 on a fast track, paying $22.00 and $3.90. Songster and jockey Edgar Prado returned $2.90 to place.

All show wagering was refunded due to scratches. El Nino finished third under Cornelio Velasquez.
